Accreditation

The learning outcomes of the English Language and Literature program have been carefully designed in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process, the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ – Level 6), and the quality assurance standards set by FEDEK. These outcomes aim to ensure that students acquire not only subject-specific knowledge but also general competencies such as critical thinking, analysis, interpretation, communication, and ethical responsibility.

Our university’s quality management system seeks to provide continuous improvement and quality assurance across all components of the program, including curriculum development, teaching methods, assessment processes, academic advising, and graduate tracking mechanisms. Through this system, the effectiveness of educational processes is regularly reviewed; program content is updated based on feedback from students, alumni, and stakeholders; and graduates’ professional competencies are continuously enhanced.

Although our department is newly established, our preparations for the accreditation process are being carried out systematically. By continuously improving student satisfaction, academic performance, and teaching quality, we aim to establish the necessary infrastructure for FEDEK accreditation. In the medium term, our goal is to increase the national and international recognition of the program and to formally certify its quality as an accredited department.
